I would like to express the experience I received through the funeral services your establishment provides! When reading the statement on the website about “we can count on you to help plan”, I believe is a false statement!

It’s completely unfair to me that I have to remember my mother on January 8th as the most distasteful experience thus far! We are only given 1 mother, so based on that, it would be my first and my last! My mom’s name was misspelled on several things such as the obituary and then the death certificate! We were told to provide over 50 photos to show during the slideshow however, only 15-20 photos were shown! To add on top of that, we were told during the actual memorial service, we needed an additional song which was rushed and uncomfortable!

The one thing that outraged me the most was the fact that my mothers Urn was not the one we chose nor my mother’s ashes!

The establishment inside was Unsatisfactory, so to make things more comfortable for our family, we had to touch things up!

In conclusion , with my mother passing away on December 15th, and you receiving full payment on December 17th, we should have not been treated as this was not a delicate situation!!! We received our mother’s ashes on January 22nd, but was told we would receive her ashes on January 14th! There somehow always seemed to be miscommunication but I somehow remember what was communicated! The understanding I get from your establishment is the lack of care for loved ones lost where you all can’t seem to get simple things such as spelling Alice Marie correctly! I feel you should work on listening and not trying to speak so quickly where you don’t even listen to the words you speak!

I just want to let everyone know how wonderful hoy and Bakers has been to me and my family my son passed away on Thanksgiving 2021 and I didn't know what to do I was so much in a distraught that my mind wasn't right I just remembered that my cousin Gina Baker owned a Funeral Home and that's when I called her and told her about my situation she could hear it in my voice that I wasn't doing too well and that's when she told me cousin I got you and everything's going to be alright and when she told me that hoy and baker stood by their words100% from the first day to his final rest she stood by my side step by step everything I asked for from the flowers to the way they had him looking on his last day was excellent so if it wasn't for hoy and Baker I don't know what i would have done I know she's my family but I know they'll treat you guys like family to so if you ever need a place that will work with you Stand By Your Side and treat you like family this is the funeral home you need to contact.

The Service was Lovely,with special attention to detail&respect towards the families involved..I was personally surprised,because being from down south,its an all day affair,we put her to rest,with pride&dignity..I applaud Gina,the staff&overall precisioned Homecoming,you can't ask for anything better

The Hoy-Baker funeral home helped my family in our time of need. They provided excellent care and was emphatic to us. The service they gave us was superb. I would recommend them to anyone. My uncle Darnell’s service was very beautiful. Grace Memorial Chapel was very professional. They did an awesome job with the service.
