Tia Mikkel Lottie

On the beautiful morning of August 4,
1980 a beautiful baby girl was born to the
proud parents Odessa Lottie and Michael
Simpson and they named her Tia Mikkel
Lottie. Tia was one of three children.
Tia gained her education through the Denver Public School
system and later received her Associate's Degree in Arts and
her bachelor's in Science of Human
Services. Tia loved art and astrology.
She would spend hours reading up on
art and astrology and doing
wordsmithing.

Tia was loved by so many and spent her time giving love
and bringing joy to her family and friends. Tia loved being a
mother to her kids Jabari and Kallen. If Tia was not
spending time with her family she could be
found watching any kind of documentaries
and she loved The Chi and Friends. Tia
loved good food and could make a mean
steak and shrimp Scampi.

Tia loved music and used it as motivation and inspiration.
Playing music such as Tech-9 and Sa-Roc gave her
inspiration to move past any situation that life gave her.

On March 5, 2023 heaven's gates opened for one of God’s
precious children. Tia is preceded in death
by her son Kallen and her father Michael.
Tia leaves to cherish her memories, her
son Jabari, her mother Odessa, her sisters
Tammi and Robyn, and a host of other

family and friends.
