Shavan Blackwell Obituary

The life of Mr. Shavan Atu Blackwell
The strong and spirited:
On the bright morning of November
12, 1996, a King was
born to Wyneneicka
Blackwell, and Robert
Rainey, and he was
named Shavan Atu
Blackwell. Shavan was one of 10
children.

Shavan gaind his education through the
Denver Public school system where
he later attended George Washington
High School. During
his childhood, Shavan
was known to be
funny and caring.
Shavan’s favorite
pastime was playing video games,
listening to music, and spending time
with his family. He really liked
bulling his sisters. Shavan loved all
kinds of food, but his favorite was
chicken and spaghetti, but nothing
more than his
“Mookie” cake.
One of the best
memories of Shavan

was how he would always start fights
with his sisters because they wouldn’t
let him play with their barbie’s and
then he would run down the stairs to
tell his grandmother
crying saying
“Quaker’s hit me”.

On November 25,
2021, heaven gates opened for one of
God’s precious children, Shavan is
preceded in death by his father
Robert, grandfather Gerald, and great
grandparents Ethel and Willie.
He leaves to cherish his memories
his mother Wyneneicka, his
siblings Shateea, Sharay, Shaqua,
Sha’Tavia, Sha’Dejia, SirSedrick,
Anthony, Shawn, Tyree, his
Grandmother Dinah, his uncle
Gurvan, Gerald Jr., William, his Aunt
Star, and his Great Uncle James his
nieces and nephews, and a host of
aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a
loving son, brother,
grandson, great-grandson,
uncle, and nephew. We
will always love you and
you are never forgotten.
