Salvador Lloyd Vigil was born November 3, 1983 in Denver, CO. and remained the only child of Shirley Ann Vigil.
Affectionately called “Sal” he played football as a quarterback & running back since he was seven years old. During junior & high school Sal played on a traveling state baseball team. He was also the first Latino to win first place in a state tennis championship. He was also an avid athlete in wrestling, golf, rugby, weightlifting & basketball.
Sal attended University of Colorado Boulder and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology & Minor in Business Management .
Sal loved all Colorado outdoor adventures, a real outdoorsman who loved all types of camping, hiking, snowboarding, animals, and sports including his favorite football teams, the Denver Broncos & Dallas Cowboys.
Sal & Shirley had the most loving & special maternal bond. They enjoyed life together & loved going to restaurants, long walks with his dog Dakota & playing his cat Kayla. Sal stayed to himself a lot and was loved at the home for the elderly where he last worked.
Sal leaves the following to cherish his memory; Mother; Shirley Ann Vigil, Father; Thomas Villarreal, stepmom; Larri Lee, grandparents; Cecelia & Luis, Uncle Sonny & Aunt Donna, an array of loving cousins, family & friends.
On July 12, 2022, Salvador was tragically killed while walking his dog Dakota.
