Jorge Taylor Obituary

Jorge Joseph II was the 1 st born son to Jorge & Jennie Taylor. He was born on May 18 th , 1975 in
Albuquerque New Mexico. He was a welcome delight to the family because, the family had prayed to
God that He would send them a son so that the legacy of his father’s name could be carried on. At the
time of his birth there were only three men family members on his father’s side of the family. All praises
were given to God for the gift of Jorge.
Growing up Jorge was a very curious child, He always wanted answers to about whatever He was curious
about. He learned to pray at an early age. He was taught early to depend on God for everything in his
life.
He attended Gateway High School. He worked in the banking Industry before joining the United States
Marine Corp. He worked for several years overseas. It is unknown to many people Jorge attended Ballet
School. He was the star of his ballet class.
Jorge became a Deacon at The House Worship Center. He studied faithfully to be ordained under Pastor
Del Phillips. He served wherever He was needed. He was appointed by Pastor Del to lead the HELPS
Ministry. He duties was to help wherever there was a need. He severed faithfully doing whatever was
called to do. He served on the ministry team that help guide The House Worship Center ministry toward
the vision that God gave Pastor Del for the church.
Jorge loved his family. He loved his wife and his three children with all his heart. He loved his sisters and
brothers unconditionally. He made time to be available for every family member if He was needed. He
honored his parents with the highest regards. He was a loving son, husband, and father. Above all He
was a loving servant of God. As He grew closer to God His desire was to please God in all areas of his life
no matter what.
Jorge made the best barbeque ribs, and he became the person who was always asked to bring the baked
beans to the family gathering. He always made sure that everyone was served with love. Jorge loved
food, His favorite food was steak and cheesecake. He would do almost anything for good slice of
cheesecake. Jorge was the life of the party, his smile and personally shined through and everyone that
knew him loved him. Jorge was a very thoughtful loving person. He loved to play Chess and Monopoly,
but mainly he loved to build model cars.
On May 3, 2021 heaven gates opened for one of God’s precious children. Jorge leaves to cherish his
memories, his wife Debra, his parents Jorge and Pastor Jennie Taylor, his children Mikeal (Consuelo),
Jacquilline, and Solomon, his siblings Tina, Camille (Tracy), Armando (Dan'Yale) and Miguel (Janelle), and
a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends.
