It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Dylan Christy, age 13, of Centennial, Colorado. Born in Annapolis, Maryland, Dylan passed away on March 29.
An honor student at Laredo Middle School, Dylan was a fun and sweet boy with a playful spirit, a sharp wit, and a heart full of kindness. He approached life with curiosity and joy, always ready to make someone laugh or offer a warm smile. His boundless energy found expression in gaming, drumming, playing with friends, and parkour. He loved moving his body—running, flipping, climbing, and sliding with pure delight. Music was a constant source of joy for him, with eclectic tunes often surrounding him. He believed no one did it better than Weezer. He found adventure in travel and cherished playing trivia with family. Effortlessly funny, he gave the best hugs.
Dylan is lovingly survived by his mother, Corey; his father, Jesse; and his sister, Iona, who shared an unbreakable bond with him. Together, their love was limitless, and his presence filled their lives with immeasurable joy. He is further survived by many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him dearly. Dylan’s beloved pup, Murphy, will deeply miss his boy’s presence every day.
Though his time with us was far too short, Dylan’s spirit—joyful, daring, and full of love—will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
